Gyprock Pre-Mixed Total Joint Cement is a heavyweight all-purpose compound available in a pre-mixed form. It is a low VOC compound manufactured by Gyprock in Australia to stringent product specifications and packed in a red coloured bucket.

We stock the Gyprock range of standard Base Coats. They are all products which 'set' through a chemical reaction rather than dry through evaporation of water. This results in stronger joints with controlled working times after mixing. The specialist Wet Are Base Coat and Easy Base Taping Compound are premixed, drying type compounds. Gyprock offers a range of topping compounds with different weights. The lightweight products provide excellent coverage and are particularly suited to machine application while the heavyweight compounds are ideal for hand application and renovation work over existing plasterboard. They are all compounds that dry through evaporation.

We stock Gyprock Cornice Cements. They have defined setting times for fixing and finishing Gyprock cornice at wall and ceiling junctions. They come in 45 60 and 90. Each of the cement numbers correspond to drying times.

Gyprock Acrylic Stud Adhesive is used for adhering plasterboard and fibre cement wallboard to timber and steel frames. Acrylic Stud Adhesive provides a superior bond which is backed by Gyprock’s 25 year Manufactured For Life warranty. It is easily identified, once installed, by its distinctive blue colour. It is a low VOC acrylic compound manufactured by Gyprock in Australia to stringent product specifications and packed in blue coloured buckets and sausages.

Gyprock Wet Area Acrylic Sealant is a paintable, permanently flexible sealant designed to seal the edges of Gyprock Aquachek against pre-formed shower bases, baths and around plumbing penetrations. It can also be used as a general purpose gap filler, providing mould and mildew resistance. It is a low VOC acrylic compound manufactured to stringent product specifications and packed in a purple and white caulking gun tube.

Gyprock Back Blocking Cement is a specially formulated plaster-based cement for reinforcing Gyprock plasterboard joints where there is no framing support. Back blocking is the process of applying a support behind an otherwise unsupported joint. When used as required, this product will minimise the risk of joint cracking or distortion. It has a 2 hour working life. Gyprock Back Blocking Cement is a low VOC compound manufactured by Gyprock in Australia to stringent product specifications and packed in a purple coloured bag.

CSR FireSeal is a superior adhesive sealant with high acoustic and fire rated properties, suitable for use in commercial and residential building construction. It is a PSA composite, non-slumping, low VOC, low modulus, fire and acoustic sealant manufactured to stringent product specifications. Areas suitable for use:

  • Non fire-rated control joints in Hebel, concrete, masonry, and brickwork
  • Acoustic sealing between most common building materials such as
  • concrete, masonry, Hebel, plasterboard, fibre cement, metals, timber and plastic as part of a suitable joint design
  • Fire rated caulking of penetrations, control joints and perimeter sealing in plasterboard
